Q1. How can I retail your stencils?


A. We are not accepting applications for retailer-ship at this time. Please watch for updates to this site should this change.

Currently, any Fusion Mineral Paint merchant has the option to retail our stencils through their own ordering system.

Q2. Do you provide custom stencil designs?

Sorry, we do not offer custom designs. We also cannot adjust any existing designs. The way they are presented in-store is the only way we sell them.

Q3. Do you sell any other stencils other than what's in your store?

No. Everything we sell is listed.

Q4. I have some stencil design suggestions. Is there a place I can request this?

I love to hear your suggestions! Please email donna@funkyjunkinteriors.net with 'Stencil Suggestions' in the subject line.

Q5. How long does it take get my order shipped?

This is dependent on when you order, how much you order and where we are shipping to. That said, all orders are shipped from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and take approximately 2 weeks. However in many cases, it may be much quicker.

When you place an order, you will receive tracking number info you can trace at any time.

Please expect an few extra days if you are ordering over a weekend.

Q6. How do we know what is in stock?

Everything is always IN STOCK, as we cut each order right after we receive your payment.

Q7. How can I tell how much my order will come to before I purchase?

You are welcome to fill your cart all the way to a subtotal. All fees and shipping will be added.

Please also note, we sell in Canadian funds. To figure out your conversion, do a google search on 'Canadian American conversion' or ? and you'll be able to figure out an accurate amount.

The only thing our system will not add is any custom / brokerage fee. This may only be applicable to larger orders. We ship through Canada Post to avoid extra fees where possible.

Q8. Do you offer any kind of creator affiliate program?

At this time, we do not offer an affiliate program. Unfortunately, this store doesn't operate with affiliate apps.

Q9. Do you offer discounts?

We don't have specific discount programs. If you approach a Fusion Mineral Paint retailer, they may have discount options for purchasing goods through their stores.

Q10. Do your stencils ever go on sale?

We do not host sales on our stencils. This guarantees a fair price 24/7.

Q11. Would you like to be a part of my giveaway promotion?

We don't take part in giveaway promotions.

Q12. How do I clean my stencils?

I personally don't clean mine. However if you wish to, try soaking your stencil in hot soapy water right after you use it, then wipe clean. Baby wipes are also said to work well if you use them right away. Some use Simple Green, Goof Off, etc. Saturate, soak, rub paint off. Proceed with these solutions with caution. I have not tried them myself.

Q13. How do I avoid bleeding paint under a stencil?

The key is using a super dry-to-the-touch paint loaded brush for the sharpest images possible.

After loading your stencil brush with paint, off load most paint onto something absorbent. Touch the brush, and if it feels dry, you're ready to stencil.

Q14. What's your favorite stencil brush?

I am honestly searching for the best of the best. In most of my tutorials, I link to many quality brushes through Amazon. If you find a good one, I'd love to hear from you!

Q15. What kind of paint do you use for stenciling?

I use to use acrylic craft paint when I first started stenciling. I've since moved to using Fusion Mineral Paint, since I like to coat out furniture with the same paint prior to stenciling. The paint is great, needs no top coat and dries quickly.

I receive many offers asking me to try new paint, however I haven't felt a need to move beyond what I'm using.

Q16. Do you sell any ready made signs? Do the stencils come with anything else like in the project pictures?

We only sell the stencils. The project photos are created to help inspire you with super creative ideas on what to make with your stencils.

We have many that purchase our stencils in order to sell ready made creations. Be sure to check out #oldsignstencils on any social media outlet to check them out!

Q17. My payment won't go through.

Our current payment system is through PayPal. They have advised us they have increased their security measures and if you are having any issues, to call 1-888-221-1161 to clear your account.

We don't find this answer satisfactory so we are looking into other ways to accept payments.

We personally have found if you try more than once, it eventually goes through.

 We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

Q18. Do just the stencils come with our orders? Any finished work included?

We just sell stencils. Within each listing in the store, the 2nd photo shows exactly how the stencils come. The stencil work shown in each product listing is showcased on finished projects for inspiration purposes only.

Q19. This is your brand of stencils, correct? What does the Fusion Mineral Paint reference mean?

This is the original online store for Funky Junk's Old Sign Stencils. We have since broadened the accessibility to have retailers local to you carry them for your shopping convenience. As it stands so far, only Fusion Mineral Paint merchants are on our retailer plan and have the ability to carry most of our designs. Since stocking isn't mandatory, we do recommend that you call one local to you prior to your pickup to ensure they have your favorite designs on hand. If they don't, you can ask if they will special order them in for you.
